To Tristan Goodbody on his 50th career game on Saturday.
To Randwick Under 15s on reaching the Grand Final of the State Championships at Drummoyne Oval. They ran in to the two reportedly hottest teams in Gordon and Northern Suburbs in the semi-final and Grand Final,
They defeated Gordon 45 – 12 in the semi but went down to an apparently red hot Northern Suburbs 24 – 0 in the Grand Final.
Congratulations to all concerned not only with the 15s but also to the other Randwick teams involved in the Championships. A job well done.
These lads are the future of Randwick and we need to find a way to keep them involved in rugby and not lose them to league. Hopefully this taste of success will be just the beginning.
