The Randwick District Rugby Union Football Board is pleased to announce that Dave Rogers of St Luke's in Clovelly has accepted the position as Club Chaplain. The idea is that David will be available to all players, supporters and members of the club. We see the real benefit to the players - he is an independent person they can chat to on any matter. David will attend grade and colts practise sessions. I encourage all players to introduce themselves to David. We are delighted to welcome Dave and his family to the Randwick Club.
About Dave Rogers
My dad instilled a love of rugby in me growing up, and I still remember some golden moments at the football stadium as a kid watching the Wallabies edge out the All Blacks. These days I live up the hill from Coogee Oval with my wife Meredith and one-year-old son Billy, and earn a crust as the minister of St Luke's in Clovelly. I'm looking forward to getting to know the lads and everyone in the club community, and love a good yarn.
