Can you walk? Can you walk for Cystic Fibrosis? Join our wonderful Galloping Green sponsor Pat Borg from Suttons and his family on 24 February and help make the 2018 65k 4 65 Roses walk a success. The 65K 4 65 Roses Walkathon is a fun run and endurance event, from a 7 km family friendly walk to a 65 km endurance run. The event was first held in 2008 as a community fundraising event for Cystic Fibrosis NSW.
This is Pat's 10th year supporting the 65 Roses Walk and this event just keeps getting bigger. Pat is walking for Isabella and other people with Cystic Fibrosis and to raise awareness and funds to continue research and services.
If you can't walk please consider supporting financially - click here to make a difference for those sufferers in our community needing your help. Thank you. Walking 65K is tough but living with an incurable and life shortening illness is tougher and all proceeds from the event are used by Cystic Fibrosis NSW and The Children’s Hospital Westmead to support people living with Cystic Fibrosis.

The 65K 4 65 Roses Walkathon is an annual fun walk and endurance event held to raise funds for the fight against Cystic Fibrosis, a life threatening genetic condition affecting 1000s of young Australians.
The 2018 65K 4 65 Roses Walkathon will be held on Saturday February 24th 2018. The iconic walk will take place around Sydney's Iron Cove Bay, with a base camp at Leichhardt Park, and is open to friends, families, thrill-seekers and just about anyone looking for a great day out.
65K 4 65 Roses is named after the ultra-marathon distance of 65 kilometres, and uses the name 65 Roses - which is the nickname for cystic fibrosis. But don't let the 65km course scare you off, you can walk or run as many 7km laps as you want.
Runners are welcome!
