The U14 Randwick Warriors club team play Blacktown in the Grand Final at Nagle Park, Maroubra this Sunday 3 September at 12 noon.

The players are coached by Stu Donaldson, Brett McCormick and Craig Bell.

We would like you to come and support the boys if you can.

Playing Stats of note:

Here is some interesting information regarding teenage club rugby.

For the Waverley College Boys in the side this will be their 32nd game of rugby union this year:- 17 club games, 5 Randwick Rep games and 10 school games

If their rugby was limited to school rugby, they would have only played about 10 games this year!

Thus the boys who play teenage club rugby are at a distinct advantage in terms of rugby skills and rugby IQ.

The boys also generally play different teams than they would play at school (e.g. Blacktown).

Ten of the Waverley College Firsts players this year had a very similar experience with teenage club rugby. That team produced 4 Australian Schoolboys.

So combining school rugby with club rugby and the Randwick Academy is a formula that works. Congratulations goes to the players and also to their support crew including coaches, trainers and families.
