Wicks BBQ sorely missed @LachlanMcKay Lachlan McKay

@GallopingGreens is training on tonight? Heard we have been given the night off? #goingtomissthebbq #donthaveanydinner #longweekend

Name and Shame ....was training on? Yes, it was and only twelve players attended and were out-numbered by team officials. The rest, thinking they'd been given the night off, missed out on the famous training BBQ and reason not to do the groceries that day.  Maxie and Sayle are still fuming!  Rumour has it that some officials were not satisfied with only five sausages but enjoyed six!

Who said Randwick Rugby Players weren't Intelligent Gracious Rugby Geniuses

Liam Walker 3rd grade ½ back studying at UNSW, on University
"I'm going to graduate on time, no matter how long it takes."

Craig Morrison, head coach at a recent schoolboy coaching school
"You guys line up alphabetically by height." And, "You guys pair up in groups of three, and then line up in a circle."

Tim Maxwell after last Randwick European tour on whether he had visited the Pyramids during his visit to Egypt.
"I can't really remember the names of the clubs that we went to."

Jeffery Sayle (Randwick legend ), on Night Rugby vs Day Games
"It's basically the same, just darker."

Toby Browne (1st grade 5/8) when asked about the upcoming season:
"I want to reach for 150 or 200 points this season, whichever comes first."

Tim Wright after Penrith match
"We actually got the winning try three minutes from the end but then they scored."

La La Lam
"I've never had major knee surgery on any other part of my body."

Dr Joe Casamento
"Sure there have been injuries and deaths in rugby, but none of them serious."

Allen Stutchburry (Randwick Sponsor and 2nd grade manager) after Penrith game
"If history repeats itself, I should think we can expect the same thing again."

Ewan McKenzie - Randwick Hall of Fame legend
"I never comment on referees and I'm not going to break the habit of a lifetime for that prat."

Craig Morrison Randwick Rugby coach -

(1) "He scored that try after only 22 seconds - totally against the run of play."
(2) "I would not say he (Clinton Sills) is the best left winger in the Shute Shield, but there are none better."
(3) "Well, either side could win it, or it could be a draw."
(4) "Strangely, in slow motion replay, the ball seemed to hang in the air for even longer," after watch a DVD on a recent Randwick game
