Randwick Junior Sevens Success

The recent Randwick Rugby Junior Sevens Tournament was hailed a great success.  Over 200 kids got onto the paddock mentored  by celebrity coaches Mark Ella, Simon Poidevin, Craig Morrison, Kenny Wright, Jeffrey Leonard Sayle, Jim Dubos and Tony Lewis (former All Black Sevens).

The 7 a side competition ran over 3 consecutive Monday nights;  the sucessful teams being South Coogee in the U13s, Coogee taking honours in both 14s and 15s and the 16s, Oliver's Army. Congratulations also to the 100 kids not registered with a junior rugby club but who formed their own teams of local or school mates including boys from Randwick High School, Cranbrook, Marcellin and Waverley.

The Tournament will return in 2012
