Get to know the Coaches - this week we put Randwick Rugby Colts Coordinator 2011 Jayson Brewer on the spot
1. Family - wife and kids - Names, how many? Married to the luckiest girl on earth, Angie - 3 years and our first baby is due in May 2. Last job? Sports coordinator at Marist College Pagewood Football wise- Assistant/skills coach Souths Sydney Harold Matts 3. Favourite Restaurant? Sushi Carlton- recommend the sushimi and eel box washed down with a few Asahis 4. First Rugby memory Watching the Wallabies in the late 80s on television and thinking these blokes are pretty loose. 5. Which NRL team do you support? The Bunnies of course! It's the year of the Rabbit in 2011 6. Memories of playing for Randwick Colts 2000 Undefeated Premiers was a highlight as we had a great bunch of mates and managed to flog Uni as well After a tough game on Coogee Oval heading back to the club and singing a few tunes around the jukebox 7. Describe a day as a coach at Randwick Being Colts Coordinator my day consists of setting up our pre- season training program and player identification for our up coming trials v Central coast, Gordon, Brumbies and Eastwood. Planning, planning, planning: Knowing when I turn up to training the boys are ready to go 9. Mission statement for Randwick Rugby 2011 No one of us is better than all of us 10. Goal for 2011 Provide the best possible training environment for the players; instil in them what it means to play for Randwick and ensure we have a lot of fun along the way. All 3 colt teams into the semi-finals and having a crack in the GFs!
