Support the Loyal Foundation Campaign
Our goal is to raise money for struggling charities to ensure that they can continue to brighten the lives of those who are less fortunate.

In 2009 the Investec Loyal Campaign saw a group of seven high profile Australians; Grant Hackett, Phil Kearns, Danny Green, Phil Waugh, James Dack, Larry Emdur and Anthony Bell together with Skipper Sean Langman, join 13 distinguished sailors to compete in the world's toughest race, the 2009 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. The team finished in fourth position and raised an incredible $700,000 which was distributed evenly to 14 worthy charities.

In 2010 the Foundation teamed up again with Investec as the major sponsor to face the challenge of the 2010 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race with Phil Kearns, Phil Waugh, Larry Emdur and Anthony Bell  joined by world champion surfer Layne Beachley and comeback king swimmer Geoff "Skippy" Huegill.

The 2011 race looms and Anthony Bell says "You always like to say ‘we're in it to win'," referring to the boat's past two Sydney Hobart campaigns to date, "but this year I think we've got real credibility." Bell admits Investec Loyal had been "off the pace" in her previous encounters with the five-time line honours champion Wild Oats XI. Despite generating plenty of media attention for its star-studded crew, which has included high profile athletes Geoff Heugill, Phil Waugh and Layne Beachley, the boat finished fourth across the line in 2009 and second to Oats in 2010. But with the first phase of modifications to his Elliot-designed 100-footer complete, and a second round planned ahead of this year's race, Bell believes the boat can go one better in 2011.

We encourage you to donate, attend our Sail with the Stars Gala Charity Dinner or buy a hat. 100% of all funds raised will be distributed to charities - the major beneficiary in 2010 was the Humpty Dumpty Foundation. To donate click here >...
